Hair Cuts For Short Fine Hair

If you have fine hair you may have discovered that it can be difficult to style.  Fine hair often has a hard time holding body and volume, so it is important to try to find a hairstyle that will compliment your fine hair and will help give the appearance of body and volume.  Remember though that there is a difference between fine and thin hair.  Fine refers to the diameter of a single strand.  So you may have fine hair that is abundant, because fine is determined by the individual strands.

When looking for a hairstyle that will compliment your fine hair certain things need to be considered.  Do you have fine hair that is abundant on your head or do you have thin fine hair?  Regardless of the type of fine hair you have here are a few sure fire haircuts.

The first is a medium length bob haircut.  This hairstyle will help your fine hair appear to have more volume and body, and this cut looks great on almost any face shape.  The next is the chop hair style.  Keep your hair in a bob haircut that is just above the shoulders.  This cut has irregular ends which help add dimension to the fine hair and it is also a very easy style to maintain.  And last but not least is a lightly layered mid-length hair cut.  This cut is another great medium length hair cut that incorporates a few long layers in your hair that is cut just at or slightly below your shoulder.  The light layers will add nice texture and dimension to your fine hair and will help it appear full.

Just because you have fine hair does not mean you can not have a fun beautiful medium length hair cut.  Have fun deciding what style you would like to try and then go for it.  With a new cut your fine hair will look like a million bucks.
