Thick Facial Hair RemovalReduce Your Thick Facial Hair

The obvious remedy to reduce thick facial hair on men is to have them shave it off, but not all men enjoy shaving, and many men actually enjoy having facial hair.  Here are a few tips on how to reduce thick facial hair without going to extremes.

The first option is to simply trim facial hair with a special pair of scissors.  Point the scissors at an upward angle and trim the beard, mustache or goatee to eliminate some of the thickness.  Another option is to use a beard trimming tool.  These tools are a great way to trim your long thick whiskers, and also work well to thin out your facial hair too.   Then last but not least you may choose to use a pair of clippers to thin your beard, mustache or goatee.  But be careful if using this technique not to get too close or you will may create a bald patch and then have to shave off your facial hair completely to remedy the bald patch.  There are great ideas and tips on line as well to give you step by step instructions for thinning your thick facial hair.

Reducing thick facial hair may not be hard but it could be painful, one last way to reduce thick facial hair is to pluck hairs out individually using a pair of tweezers.  This will definitely thin out your facial hair but could also cause some serious pain.  So this method is not for the faint of heart.

Facial hair is something most men have and thankfully there are many different ways to wear it.  There are also many techniques to keep thick facial hair thinned out and groomed well.  If you have troubles with thick facial hair try one or more of these ideas to help reduce its thickness.

Challenges Of The Asian Hairstyles

Posted by Hair Styles

asian hairstyle pixie cutThe Challenges Of The Asian Hairstyle

Every type of ethnic hair has its own set of challenges and the Asian hairstyle is no different.  Blessed with dark straight locks which are often wonderfully shiny, Asian hairstyle often lacks body. Round faces are no exception.

If your straight hair lacks excitement it may be time to experiment with a razor cut.  Round faces are no exception.  Using a razor to cut the hair increases movement and body in a hairstyle.  Often times Asian hair is coarse and very straight so having your hairstylist use a razor while cutting your hair will soften the edges, create texture and thin out your hair to lighten it up a bit.  All different lengths of hair can benefit from a razor cut as well as a round face shape.  A round face will benefit from a textured cut that frames the face creating a thinner looking face.

Adding bangs that push to the side will also frame a nice round face shape and add a nice style too.  If your goal is wash and go, stick with a medium length shag hairstyle.  This hairstyle has lots of layers and razored edges.  You do not need to mess with everyday styling tools such as hair dryers or curling irons, instead keep your styling simple.  Use your fingers and a small amount of styling product to create a nice shag hairstyle.

With a round face shape the best styles are generally layered bangs rather than straight or heavy bangs.  Short styles which will give height to your face shape.  Styles that add length, by incorporating layers and razor cuts to add texture and dimension to your hair are also great cuts for round shaped faces.  And one last one hairstyle that looks nice on round faces is having your hair kept short at the sides of your face, this again will create a framing effect and is a flattering style with round face shapes.

The Best Hairstyles For Teenage Boys

Posted by Hair Styles

teenage boys hairstyles leonardoThe Best Hairstyles For Teenage Boys

Boys have it easy when it comes to styling hair, not only does it come naturally but they have many different styles to choose from. Styling a teenage boy’s hair can be easy as there are many different styles to choose from without ever making a single cut. Be sure that your hair is not greasy looking and anything you do with the hair will look great. Even today, there are no bad hair days because even messy boy hair is a very popular style.

There once was a day where boys all had the same hair style, cut short with nothing more to their hair. That is a style of the past, but most boys still stick to it, just because it’s a style of hair. Today boys let their hair grow long and styling it has because an art. Teenage boys have even adopted the dreadlock style, mainly from not washing their hair. By letting all of the natural grease and grim of the hair, it would cause the hair to ‘dreadlock’ into place, which became a style for boys.

Because of celebrities such as Zac Efron, long shaggy hair has become one of the more popular teenage boy hairstyles of today. This hairstyle is cool, attractive and looks great on any teenage boy. It is easy to achieve this look as long as you have some type of hair product like gel or pomade. You do not even have to brush your hair, but with your hand as you apply either mouse or gel. After applying a small dab throughout your hair all you have to do is mess it up and let it sit on your head. Try not to get the hair too ‘organized’ as its supposed to look slightly messy.

Another great looking teenage boy hairstyle is to spike the hair up. For this style you will always have to use some type of stronger gel to hold it in place and to comb your hair until its spiked up. You do not necessarily need to use a comb, but rather use your hands and you will achieve a look that not only is popular today but something that is new and messy looking. The key to a good hairstyle for any teenage boy is to make it look messy and use products such as mouse or gel.

If you have any questions about the best hairstyles for teenage boys then “Ask The Hairstylist” a question and we will post the reply here.
